The recent election of a new pope seems to have ushered in a sense of hope for better relations between the Vatican on one hand, and the Arab and Muslim worlds on the other. Thus far, voices on both sides have been positive, heralding a possible mending of tensions that existed under the previous Pope Benedict XVL. Sharif Hikmat Nashashibi reports.
