The 9th World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) took place in London’s ExCel Centre over three days at the end of October, meeting outside the Muslim world for the first time in its history. The forum, entitled Changing Worlds, New Relationships was jointly hosted by the governments of the United Kingdom and Malaysia and attended by over 2700 delegates from 128 countries as well as 18 heads of state and 46 ministers.
