Lebanon is currently featured at the Rath Museum in Geneva until 31 March 2013; there are 277 rare artefacts showcased at an exhibition “Fascination of Lebanon: Sixty Centuries of History of Religions, Art and Archaeology”. The exhibition – the first of its kind in Switzerland – seeks to give visitors a glimpse of the relationship between the people who inhabited Lebanon and their beliefs throughout history, as well as the various civilisations that took root on Lebanese soil. The National Museum in Beirut, which is affiliated with the Lebanese Culture Ministry’s Directorate General of Antiquities, is organising the exhibition in collaboration with art and history museums in Geneva.
